the jakubiaks consist of 2 small children who thankfully don't know any better and who find themselves trailing behind a "practical" daddy who likes to throw maps out the window just to make mama laugh and a mama who loves the idea of a new idea which always includes the very real option of failure. We are not as different/unique/mold breaking as we'd like to think we are, but we're getting there. someday we'll reach our dream of living in a hut in some tropical local telling the "savages" about our Lord and realize why God didn't put us there yesterday, until then we'll wrestle with why we are still in this God forsaken country and enjoy all its benefits. and sometime between the discontented now and a hut in the future is all the amazing ministry oportunities our God chooses to use us for, the least of which is the discipleship of those 2 poor kids we drag around... and of course log-a-topia. can't wait to see how many log cabins we can build before we need wheelchairs.
